Solar Eclipse Viewing

We are excited about Monday’s eclipse! FRIES will have music and giveaways in the back of the school Monday afternoon for families. Be sure to bring your own eclipse glasses (students are receiving a pair through the school) and join us to watch this stellar event together!

We are asking that families park at Mile Lane and walk over, as there is not enough parking at this time at Doyon for staff, teachers and families.

Follow the dismissal instructions:

1. If you are watching the eclipse with FRIES, please use School Dismissal Manager to change your student’s instruction to “Solar Eclipse Watch Event.”
2. Park at Mile Lane at 2:30pm and walk over to Doyon to pick up your student(s)
3. Join us in the back of school to watch the eclipse! (And don’t look up without your glasses!)

We do need students to be with a family member to participate due to the danger that comes with looking at the eclipse without glasses.
